Imint (Sweden) has announced the appointment of three new distribution partners, to handle an increased international interest in the Imint product line, and to further accelerate global expansion.
The new partners; Danish Aviation Systems, Golan Security & Consulting, and J&E Systech Co., will promote and sell Imint’s products in Denmark, Italy and South Korea respectively.
Imint’s unique technology for resource efficient real-time video analysis and enhancement has rapidly gained global traction, and Imint’s product Ihvert is steadily making its way into the UAS market. To meet the growing demand, and to provide better market reach, Imint has signed up with new partners who will market, demonstrate and sell Imint’s products on their domestic markets.
Danish Aviation Systems is a Northern European developer, integrator and sales agent for UAS systems, targeting small- to medium size UAS systems, and focusing on application optimization, and tailor-made solutions for the given task. “As a UAS integrator and provider, we need to be able to offer our clients flexible solutions and at the right price point. Imint’s products for video enhancement and exploitation fits in very well, as it can increase performance of any eyes-in-the-sky system, and many times be a cost efficient alternative to an expensive payload”, commented Mr. Steven Friberg, CEO of Danish Aviation Systems.
Golan Security & Consulting in Italy operates in the areas of investigation and intelligence on a worldwide basis. Golan is expanding its expertise in the field of aerial surveillance to integrate and improve services to government agencies and private organizations. Mr. Perini, general manager, said: “Imint’s technology is essential to optimize the usefulness of images from small to medium UAS’s without penalties of heavy equipment on board. Thanks to the partnership with Imint, we can provide solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.”
In South Korea, J&E Systech Co. operates two business divisions; Special Materials and Engineering. The Engineering division holds the business unit within Aerospace/Defense, providing optimal engineering by integrative execution on the control system design as well as structure and equipment design of flight platforms and development of UASs. Mr. Yong-Ro Joo, Vice President of the engineering division, commented on the appointment: “We are happy to include the technology from Imint in our portfolio aimed at delivering capabilities to systems primarily within aerial reconnaissance. Imint’s Ihvert Remote Video Terminal enables us to provide state-of-the-art technology also to the ground systems – where the video is used to make decisions.”
Andreas Lifvendahl, Sales & Marketing Director at Imint, concluded the announcement: “We are very happy to have these prominent firms as partners. Their somewhat different business focus shows the versatility and flexibility of our products; show me a moving system that generates video, and where that video will be used to detect, identify, locate and act, and we can show an easy way to boost that system.”
Imint is a Swedish innovation’s company originating from University of Uppsala’s image processing research. Imint has specialized in real-time video improvement and analysis software, primarily for the UAS market. Main product Ihvert® is a software suite that can run on Remote Viewing Terminals or Ground Control Stations, to receive, study, analyze and communicate video intelligence. Ihvert provides functions like video stabilization, noise reduction, contrast enhancement, automatic image mosaicing, target locking, etc. Through Ihvert, Imint offers benefits to its customers both through video improvements providing quicker and more reliable detection and recognition, and through cost reductions, as alternative solutions are more expensive and adds extra weight – thereby limiting the economics of operation.
