The three recent unmanned aircraft crashes brings the total of large UAS crashes for 2011 to thirteen, and the total for 2010 & 2011 to thirty-six, according the Drone Crash Database maintained by Drone Wars UK.
Drone Wars UK aims to be a source of information on the growing use of armed drones. Based in the UK , it focuses on the use of British drones but also include information about armed drones in general.
Overall the database now has some details of almost eighty large drone crashes since 2007, compiled from USAF accident reports, press reports and Wikileaks.
