The programme director for University of North Dakota’s Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems has been named to the newly launched North Dakota Airspace Integration Team. Al Palmer, director of the programme’s research, education and training, was appointed to the position by North Dakota’s congressional delegation and Governor Jack Dalrymple.
The new team will be the interface between the state and the Federal Aviation Administration on UAS integration into the National Aerospace System.
