Organized under the joint patronage of the French Ministry of Defence and the Secretary of State for the Sea, the upcoming EURONAVAL exhibition will be held in France at the Paris – Le Bourget exhibition centre from 22 to 26 October 2012.
EURONAVAL is one of the most important events on the international naval and maritime industry calendars. It brings together 400 exhibitors from 37 countries, 80 official delegations from 52 countries and generates more than 30,000 professional visitors from 100 countries.
EURONAVAL traditionally covers all major sectors in the military naval field, as well as state actions related to maritime security and safety, including the enforcement of public order at sea, maritime & fishery policing, and maritime and coastal surveillance.
EURONAVAL is also a leading event for unnamed naval vehicles (surface & sub-surface), aswell as unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and unmanned ground vehicle systems (UGVs).
It is for this reason that EURONAVAL has partnered with UVS International and offers the opportunity for exhibitors to organize dynamic demonstrations of unmanned underwater systems in an above-ground windowed tank, free-of-charge. The 2010 edition of EURONAVAL confirmed the success of the dynamic demonstration area with many international professional visitors, official delegations and international media representatives.
