During the UVS-TECH 2012 Exhibition in Moscow, Swiss Company FLYING ROBOTS SA and Russian Company NEFTEGAZAEROKOSMOS signed a Partnership Agreement in order to adapt the newly launched Soft Wing Aerial Navigator (FR SWAN X1) to the requirements of the Russian Oil and Gas industry.
This Agreement defines the use of the SWAN X1 for the aerial monitoring of infrastructures and pipelines. It will also define the technical data necessary to be in accordance with the end user requirements, as Gazprom and its subsidiaries.
Philippe Banse, CEO of the Swiss Company said that “this Partnership Agreement paves the way to deep industrial cooperation with Russian industry as the final product is supposed to integrate many Russian components”.
NEFTEGAZAEROKOSMOS was created in 1995, as the main enterprise in charge of elaboration, development and implementation of innovation technology for Aviation operations supporting Gazprom enterprises.
