The Taipei Aerospace and Defense Technology Exhibition will showcase innovative services and applications for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) among other military products.
Tainan-based Geosat Informatics & Technology Co. will present its latest applications and designs, such as its geographic information system and remote sensing, photogrammetry and mapping for UAS, during the biennial trade show, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said.
Over 100 exhibitors from around the world will display a range of aerospace, military and disaster-relief products, including surface-to-air missiles and other types of homeland security technology, TAITRA said of the show, to be held from Aug. 15 to 18.
The exhibits will include the MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile system, the latest upgrades of the Hawk 21 missile and the Link 16, a military tactical data exchange network, the fair’s official website said.
The exhibitors will include U.S. defense contractor Raytheon, American global aerospace and defense company Lockheed Martin Corp., and globally renowned UAS maker UAVER and state-run Aerospace Industrial Development Corp. from Taiwan.
The Ministry of National Defense will also display its latest weaponry at a defense technology exhibition, the organizers said.
The biennial exhibition, for which admission is free, will be held at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center.
