The 43rd UAV-DACH Conference takes place from April 14th 13:00h through April 15th 17:00h at the RPAS-Expo of AERO2015 Friedrichshafen, Exhibition Area Hangar A2.
The exhibition area RPAS Expo (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) provides a comprehensive overview of the capabilities of unmanned flying objects. Visitors are informed how far the development of civilian drones is already well advanced. Manned and unmanned aerial vehicles from different vendors, equipped with the latest measuring and sensor technology are on display.
For unmanned aircraft, which belong to the general aviation, there is already a wide range of applications ranging from environmental research on Earth Observation up to save lives. In addition, an indoor flying display is at the AERO allows operators to demonstrate their aircraft.

“We want to highlight the opportunities and benefits of drones for the civil sector,” says AERO Project Manager Roland Bosch who is convinced that the presentation at a air show needs a broad platform.
“The aircraft are sophisticated. Multikopter and hybrid aircraft are in use. A high level of security of hardware and software is essential. This is critical especially for non-commercially operated UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) problematic, because the safety of air navigation shall not be affected “.
At the AERO show, all relevant target groups will be addressed: utilities, Geo-informatics, geographers, geologists, cartographers, disaster relief, fire and rescue, observation / . monitoring forces, local authorities, government agencies, environmental analyst, surveyor, water managers and training establishments RPAS pilots, as well as universities and institutes following program is planned at the AERO:
- UAV-DACH user conference with workshops
- Exhibition space in Hall A2
- Indoor airfield close to the exhibition
- Outdoor air space above the sea exhibition at the West Entrance
In UAV-DACH eV, the umbrella organization for unmanned aircraft, AERO Friedrichshafen has a strong partner to content illustrate the issue of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). The AERO 2015 trade fair for General Aviation takes place in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance from 15 to 18 April 2015. In 11 exhibition halls and on the static display between fair and airport present more than 630 exhibitors from 35 countries, the innovations in the industry – from ultra-light aircraft and Gyrocopter to the twin-engine propeller aircraft, from helicopters to business jets.
