SIAE, organiser of the Paris Air Show , has just published the final results of the 52nd Edition , showing a record-breaking number of 2,381 exhibitors from 48 countries.The full published results are:
- 2,381 exhibitors from 48 countries (2,303 in 2015)
- 322,000 visitors:
– Trade visitors: 142,000
– General Public: 180,000
- $150 billion worth of orders were announced including: 897 orders and purchasing commitments for a catalogue value of 115 billion USD, for a total of 934 commercial aircraft.
Floor Space:131,500 m2 of areas rented, including:
- 54,000 sqm of stands
- 340 chalets, amounting 37,500 sqm of covered areas
- 40,000 sqm of outside space
- 27 national pavilions
- 140 aircraft presented in flight demos and/or static displays
- 3,450 accredited journalists
- Inauguration by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron on the opening day (19 June) and visits from the Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, as well as 9 French ministers and secretaries of State
- 290 official foreign delegations from 98 countries and 7 international organizations
This year, the organisers also created ParisAirshow TV, which offers television stations worldwide freely available video images and pictures of this major aerospace exhibition held from June 19 to 25, 2017 at the exhibition center in Paris Le Bourget Parc des Expositions.
