Fat Shark, makers of the (FPV) headset for drone racing, has just released an entry-level complete kit for budding drone racers.
Fat Shark’s 101 kit is the perfect solution for anyone looking to get into sport drones. Composed of a custom-designed quadcopter, race-ready Recon goggles and a professional-grade radio, the kit has everything needed to get started in drones.
Training is a big part of the new 101 kit. With registration, each kit comes with free access to the Drone Racing League simulator (a $20 value) and three months of free Academy of Model Aeronautics membership + insurance. The radio plugs directly into a computer for direct integration with the DRL simulator and can also be used to pilot the quad in stabilized or advanced mode.
Most importantly, the kit is simple. Both the Recon goggles and the quadcopter can be recharged through USB and there are no complicated binding procedures, charging constraints or special licenses to acquire. Simply open the box, charge the batteries and fly.
Right now, the 101 Kit is available for $249 only through select retailers for pre-sale. Initial units will ship to retailers in mid-January, at which point preorders will be fulfilled on a first-come-first serve basis.

Flying a drone for the first time is really difficult as compare to RC cars, controlling is the major part. If you’re a beginner, then it’s best for you to get some experience with a cheap drone and try to find in an open area with no trees around.
