The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will co-host the FAA’s 3rd annual Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Symposium on March 6-8, 2018 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The UAS Symposium provides attendees with the opportunity to engage face-to-face with a cross-section of government and industry leaders and innovators about the latest industry developments, regulations, research, and other initiatives to safely integrate UAS into the National Airspace System (NAS). Based on the survey results from last year’s Symposium, this year’s program will focus on initiatives to meet the technical challenges facing UAS operations and industry partnerships to safe integration.
Back by popular demand, the FAA will staff a Resource Center throughout the event, with subject matter experts available to provide one-on-one technical support regarding authorizations, waivers, Part 107 requirements, policies, and regulations.
