Northrop Grumman Gets $298M USAF Services Contract

Northrop Grumman

has received a $298.2 million contract modification to repair common unmanned aircraft system components for the U.S. Air Force.

USAF tasked the company to service sensor suites, launch and recovery equipment and mission controls of both the MQ-4C Triton and RQ-4B Global Hawk platforms.

The award also entails engineering support to the 407th Supply Chain Management Squadron.

DOD noted that contract work covers reparable National Stock Numbers encompassing air vehicles and parts.

The Air Force Sustainment Center in Georgia is the contracting activity for this sole-source acquisition and the military service expects work to conclude on Dec. 31, 2027.
