FPV-drones capable of flying at a speed of about 150 kilometers per hour appeared in service with the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The footage released shows pilots from the Erebus Group unit of the Strike Unmanned Aerial Systems Company, which is part of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, effortlessly closing in on enemy vehicles.
“Something interesting happened here. Your drones now fly at a speed one and a half times higher than before – about 150 km/h. We have no idea how this is possible,” the volunteer said.
Speed is a super-important parameter that, together with manoeuvrability, allows FPV drone pilots to catch up and hit targets on the go.
