Primoco UAV Gets New $2.7M Order from Asia

The Czech manufacturer of unmanned aircraft Primoco UAV has announced a new order. It will deliver two machines for flight calibration of navigation devices to Asia.

It will deliver two One 150 aircraft fully equipped for checking, calibrating and evaluating airport navigation devices to a customer from Asia. The value of the transaction is 2.5 million euros (62 million crowns).

The announcement comes shortly after receiving a record order for 24 drones for a total of 18 million euros (450 million crowns).

“The new contract confirms that unmanned systems are increasingly in demand not only in the military area or security and rescue services, but also for the provision of civil aerial work,”

said Primoco UAV CEO Ladislav Semetkovský, noting that the company announced new orders for more than half a billion crowns.

For the whole of this year, he expects orders for 50 to 60 unmanned aircraft with a total value of around one billion crowns.

In the case of calibration of airport navigation equipment such as ILS/VOR/DME/TACAN/COM as well as visual systems such as PAPI/VASI, Primoco UAVs are able to fully replace manned machines. At the same time, they achieve the same high output quality in the required ICAO standard at significantly lower acquisition and operating costs.
