On the battlefield, russian occupation forces are utilizing the Muravey, a radio-controlled cart developed by the Hermes Design Bureau (part of a research and production association). Originally designed for cargo transport, the platform is now being used as a mobile launch pad for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in difficult-to-access areas.
While the concept itself is not particularly innovative, its application remains notable—the platform delivers drones in standby mode to a launch position, from where reconnaissance UAVs can be deployed.
Previously, the Hermes Design Bureau claimed to have developed a control station capable of putting drone swarms into sleep mode. This system was reportedly designed to manage an unlimited number of UAVs and activate them simultaneously for transport.
Radio-controlled Muravey cart
According to the manufacturer, the Muravey cart is equipped with Hermes anti-jamming communication systems.
The robotic platform is controlled remotely from a ground station. In terms of technical specifications, it measures 80 × 90 cm, weighs 27 kg, and can transport up to 25 kg of cargo at speeds of up to 9 km/h across rough terrain.
