)n 18 October 2026, the drone show presented amazing formations, including a giant peacock, the Indian national flag, a lion and Lord Shiva, created using hundreds of points of light in the sky.
One of the biggest highlights was the peacock formation created using 3,473 drones, making this a special moment in the history of Mysuru Dasara.
Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) Limited created Guinness Record for the largest display of a bird formed by multirotors/ drones during the Dasara Drone Show held at Bannimantap Torchlight Parade Grounds in Mysuru that evening.
The light show in Mysuru during the Mysuru Dasara festival is designed, operated, and executed by BotLab Dynamics, an IIT-incubated drone startup.
The public displays are typically hosted at the Torchlight Parade Ground in Bannimantap, Mysuru.
The shows feature thousands of synchronized, “Made-in-India” drones flying in formations that depict cultural, mythological, and national symbols (such as the Guinness World Record-breaking tiger and dancing peacock formations).
Organizer: The event is organized by the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) as part of the official Mysuru Dasara celebrations.
