During the International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO) 2024, taking place in Kielce, WB GROUP presents a new concept of the Warmate 50 strike drone. The Polish drone attracts attention with its size.
The Warmate 50, as its name suggests, is equipped with a 50-kilogram warhead. This is a significant improvement over previous versions of the Warmate drones, which had a smaller payload but were also more flexible. Unlike its predecessors, the Warmate 50 does not have the ability to replace the warhead. This type of approach aims to maximize combat effectiveness at the expense of the flexibility of surveillance functions. It is therefore an unmanned aerial vehicle designed exclusively for strike missions. The new model will be powered by a combustion engine, which will allow it to hit targets hundreds of kilometers away.
Warmate 50 is a development of the previous version – Warmate 20, which has already gained fame on the international stage. Russian media, such as TopWar, commented on the Warmate 20 concepts, noting that Poland is trying to create competition for the Russian Lancet. According to them, Poland is trying to create an “analogue of something that has no analogue”.

Warmate 50 is an example of a solution that is becoming increasingly dominant on the modern battlefield. Thanks to its powerful warhead and long range, the drone can significantly strengthen the operational capabilities of the Polish armed forces, especially in the context of precise strikes on strategic targets.
