General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Gets $30M US Army Gray Eagle Support Contract

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., Poway, California, was awarded a $30,342,272 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract.

The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract in support of the MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft system quick reaction capability.  Work will be performed in Poway, Calif., with an estimated completion date of May 7, 2012.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-09-C-0153).
