Bottle service took to the sky Memorial Weekend as Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas debuted a new high roller delivery method: OctoCopter. The service includes a photo of the delivery and an aerial picture of the group — perfect for social media posting.
The Cosmopolitan Hotel, not known for its subtlety, has introduced a new way for daytime revelers to get their drink on. The service costs $20,000 and debuted over Memorial Day weekend.
The OctoCopter is operated by two people — a cameraman and a pilot. It can fly in 30 mph winds and climb up to 100 feet.
It can also carry up to 12 pounds, so no worries your oversize bottle won’t be able to fly.
The hotel has used UAS before, but this was the first time it has been used for bottle service. Pending weather conditions, it’s available to the public with an advance reservations .
