AeroVironment Inc., Monrovia, California, has been awarded a $19,035,007 modification (P00002) adding Phase II base period within the general scope of the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (HR0011-13-C-0099) for the Tactically Exploited Reconnaissance Node (TERN) programme. The addition of the TERN Phase II programme brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $21,363,667 from $2,328,660. Work will be performed in the following locations: Monrovia, California (80 percent); Tucson, Arizona (5 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (10 percent); and Sparks, Nevada (5 percent).
The TERN Phase II programme is expected to be complete on September 30, 2015. Fiscal year 2014 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $5,750,000 are being obligated at time of P00002 award.
