Insitu Inc., Bingen, Washington, is being awarded $6,874,313 for cost-fixed-price delivery order 0052 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-12-G-0008) for technical studies, conceptual design modifications and engineering development, including associated preliminary test assets necessary to integrate the Cosworth AG engine onto the RQ-21A unmanned aircraft system.
Work will be performed at Hood River, Oregon (65 percent); Bingen, Wash. (20 percent); Boardman, Oregon (5 percent); Webster Field, Saint Inigoes, Maryland (5 percent); and Patuxent River, Maryland (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2017. Fiscal 2014 research, development, test, and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,500,000 will be obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
