Today marks the beginning of Commercial Drone Week in Silicon Valley. As a precursor to Drone World Expo, a series of Pre-Conference Workshops will take place at the same venue as Drone World Expo. The workshops will focus on ‘Public Safety Training’, ‘sUAS for Inspections’ and ‘Sensors and Analytics for Precision Agriculture’.
Tomorrow the third annual Drone World Expo Conference & Exhibition will open its doors at the Convention Center in San Jose, California. A tightly packed schedule awaits all delegates, with more than 40 conferences and 125 speakers/presenters. The conference starts with a keynote at 08.30 and the Exhibit Hall opens at 10.00. Exhibitors from across the globe will showcase the latest technologies, products and services for commercial UAS and dozens of Tech Talk presentations and demonstrations will take place in the Exhibit Hall, open to all Drone World Expo attendees.
Conference organizer Joelle Coretti said:
“We couldn’t be more excited to be here, welcoming thousands of commercial drone professionals from all over the world to Silicon Valley and kicking off what’s sure to be our most extraordinary and groundbreaking event yet! We have worked tirelessly with our Advisory Board to put together a program that sets Drone World Expo apart. Our exhibitors will be unveiling their latest innovations and attendees can see how it all works in our Exhibit Hall.
Among our speakers, exhibitors and highly-qualified audience, there are conversations happening here that won’t happen anywhere else. And we are thrilled to provide the forum for moving the commercial drone industry forward.”
All Drone World Expo attendees also have access to keynote panels – Facebook, NASA, Airbus Aerial, X, GE Beyond, UPS, Aurora Flight Sciences, Uber Elevate, and Ford Motor Company will all discuss drone transportation and their predictions for the future of the industry.
And Michael Kratsios, Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy U.S. Chief Technology Officer, The White House, will give a special keynote address on Tuesday afternoon.
