Bids were solicited via the internet with two received.
Work under the EO/IR/LD payload contract encompasses program management, production, system engineering, integration, test, evaluation and logistical support services.
L3 will develop the technology to help the Army manage battlespace situational awareness, increase TUAS survivability and obtain imagery for target or threat detection.
The company will perform contract work through Aug. 28, 2023, and will receive funds with each order.
