The Army Aviation Association of America, Inc. has announced that the AAAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems Professional Forum will take place on December 14‐16, 2011, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, Arlington, VA.This event will bring together all aspects of the community — Operators, R&D, Acquisition and Industry alike — to explore the way ahead for this vital capability as UAS teams up with manned systems to bring new capabilities and effects to the battlefield.
DoD Public Affairs has stopped its policy of issuing Approval letters for “widely attended gatherings” such as conferences, fora and symposia. It is now up to individual attendees to contact their immediate Command and/or Ethics advisors to determine the appropriateness of attending such events, including gifts of “free” attendance.
