Details of Ukrainian Drones Attacking Moscow Revealed

Ukrainian volunteers collecting donations for the army, Serhiy Prytula and Serhiy Sternenko, showed kamikaze drones that are being used to attack strategic sites in Moscow.

Prytyla and Sternenko pictured themselves in front of the drones, threatening Moscow residents and calling on them to go to bomb shelters and watch how drones attack strategic objects.

The published photos provide a clear look at the main details of the drone, which currently has the unofficial name “Beaver.” The shape of the drone and internal combustion engine, visible on the images, match drones filmed previously by Moscow residents during attacks.

Public photos of the drone were also displayed at the state level during a 25 July drone forum in Kyiv dedicated to the 1 year since the establishment of the Ukrainian Army of Drones.

According to the hints from Ukrainian volunteers, when they speak that drones can reach the Russian city of Kingisepp, the range of the drones could be about 800 km, although so far they have reached Moscow, which is about 450 km from the Ukrainian border.

The revealed drone is already operational and mass-produced, but Ukraine must focus on scaling manufacturing so that its long-range strikes seriously affect the war.

Serhiy Prytula said that drones were partially funded by money collected from Ukrainian by one of his fundraising campaigns “for revenge,” initiated after one of the massive Russian missile attacks on Kyiv. Also, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Ukrainian government allocated UAH 40 billion ($1.1 billion) for investments in the domestic production of drones in 2023.
