A Boeing Company, announces its 30th anniversary this week at The Navy League’s Sea-Air-Space Conference & Exhibition in National Harbor, Maryland.
The celebration will continue throughout the year as Insitu reflects on three decades of autonomous flight experience and historic moments while building the future of long-endurance, field-proven Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS).
Founded in 1994, Insitu is a pioneer in the modular, runway-independent, small, tactical UAS market. Insitu’s uncrewed solutions are designed to be multi-mission capable to support a broad range of customer needs and allow warfighters to make quicker, more informed decisions at every level of command.
Insitu UAS have been flying real-world customer missions since 2004, with more than 1.4 million operational hours over land and at sea. ScanEagle alone has flown more than 166,000 sorties for customers around the world.
