is the first US-based drone light show company to receive FAA approval to attach fireworks to drones. Drone light shows, as we know them, will never be the same. 300 drones took flight over our test field to create a spectacle never seen in the United States.
Sky Elements prides itself on innovating the drone light show space; today, it is no different. Today is a new day to present a new offering from our world-renowned team of drone light show experts.
Fireworks on Drones: a First in the United States
Pyro drone shows comprise a traditional drone light show, with some drones outfitted with pyro devices. These drones can be triggered to fire at any point in the show, creating trails of waterfalls, shooting stars, and additional effects. After a 26-month wait, the FAA has granted us a waiver to fly pyrotechnics on drones. This new form of aerial entertainment will surely have some jaws on the floor as we introduce the country to pyro drone shows. We’ve got some plans for these coming up, so stay tuned as Sky Elements continues to innovate in the US drone show industry!
Fireworks or Drone Shows? Why not Both?
Last Fourth of July, one question was on everybody’s mind: Will drone shows replace fireworks? Sky Elements flew forty drone shows last year for the holiday weekend and is set to fly double the number this year. Unfortunately, many municipalities must choose between them for their annual celebrations. Not anymore.
Blending fireworks with drone shows is sure to entice a crowd. Spearheading this new technology, Sky Elements looks forward to bringing Independence Day into the future.
