Osage Nation Begins Construction of the Windshape State-of-the-Art Testing Facility at Skyway36

’s Skyway36 Droneport and Technology Innovation Center has announced the commencement of construction of WindShape’s cutting-edge unmanned aerospace (UAS) testing facility. Spanning an impressive 19,000 square feet, this facility marks a significant milestone in WindShape’s commitment to revolutionizing emerging aerospace technology through advanced research, development, testing, inspection, certification and validation processes.

“The commencement of construction for our state-of-the-art testing facility at Skyway36 marks a pivotal moment for WindShape,” remarked Nicolas Bosson, Chief Operating Officer at WindShape. ” With the support of Osage Nation, Osage LLC and other partners, we are enthusiastic about the possibilities that lie ahead and are poised to further elevate our research and development to set new benchmarks for performance, safety, and reliability in the emerging aerospace industry.”

Upon completion, WindShape will become an important part of the Skyway36 Droneport and Technology Innovation Center. Skyway36 is a unique UAS testing center, strategically situated within Osage Nation, less than 5 miles from downtown Tulsa and 10 miles from Tulsa International Airport. It is the primary access point to Skyway Range, the Beyond-Visual-Line-of-Sight UAS flight test range of 1,200 square miles built in partnership with Osage LLC, Oklahoma State University and Tulsa Innovation Labs.
