Thales and Scheibel Complete S-100 UAS Flight Trials

Thales UK and Schiebel have delivered the most comprehensive maritime sensor suite to be fitted to the CAMCOPTER S-100 during UK flight trials in August 2021. Operating off the North Wales coastline, the trials demonstrated how a navy warship can benefit from the intelligence gathered over an extended operating range, to prevail in a maritime or littoral operation. UAV Corp Successfully Tests Hybrid Electric Airship

UAV Corp’s  Skyborne Technology (STI), Research in Flight (RIF) as Prime contractor,  Auburn University and Gulf Coast State College have successfully tested the pre-flight systems of the U.S. Airforce AFWERX program prototype the DATT MA 600 (Detachable Airship from a Tether Technology) Hybrid Electric Extended Range Airship with Modular Payload (e2RAMP) under the 1St phase of the Air Force AFWERX contract. GA-ASI Demonstrates Airborne MUM-T with MQ-20 Avenger

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) continues to advance new levels of autonomous control for unmanned aircraft, successfully completing an airborne Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) demonstration on Aug. 25, 2021 pairing a company-owned MQ-20 Avenger with a modified King Air 200 as a surrogate for 4th– and 5th-generation tactical fighters.
