A Tiny Drone With a Directional Airburst Warhead Could Mow Down Enemy Infantry in a 60-Degree Arc

They first began appearing in large numbers in the sky over Ukraine last fall: small, first-person-view drones packing grenades or shells with airburst fuzes. Remotely detonated in mid-air and blasting tiny fragments over a wide area, the airburst drones pose an ever greater danger to unprotected infantry than do the usual explode-on-impact FPV drones.
