French Air Force Explores Fuel Cell Technology

EnergyOrEnergyOr Technologies Inc., a leader in advanced PEM fuel cell systems for aerospace applications, recently signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with the French Air Force’s Centre d’ Expertise Aérienne Militaire (CEAM). This JDA will serve as the foundation to advance development of optimized long endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms powered by EnergyOr’s fuel cell system technology.

Solid Hydrogen Fuel Cell Flies UAV for 6 Hours

HESA consortium of Singaporean institutions and private sector companies including HES Energy SystemsST AerospaceDSO National Laboratories, and the Future Systems and Technology Directorate of Singapore’s Ministry of Defense, have worked jointly to achieve a record 6 hour endurance, 300km flight on the Skyblade 360 UAV built in Singapore by ST Aerospace.
