Northwest UAV to Open Flight, Analysis, & System Test (FAST) Range

Northwest UAV has announced the official launch of their Flight, Analysis, and System Test (FAST) UAV Range, with inaugural customer flights to begin in April 2019. Through the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Northwest UAV has been granted a Certificate of Authorization (COA) by the FAA to operate its own test range under the Pan-Pacific UAS Complex. $43M Deal to Trial Heavylift UAS Freighters in Alaska

Sabrewing Aircraft Company, Inc. and the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island (ACSPI), the Unangan (Aleut) Tribe of Native Alaskans, located on St. Paul and St. George, Pribilof Islands, jointly announced that they have signed a history-making agreement for Sabrewing to provide a mix of up to ten aircraft – featuring both the 800-pound-payload “Rhaegal” and the 4400-pound-payload “Wyvern” aircraft. Deseret UAS Signs Landmark Agreement with ElectraFly

Deseret UAS has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) company, ElectraFly. This Utah-based company is developing a personal flying vehicle that has the potential to revolutionize the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) industry. Utah Opens Test Range and Drone Development Center

Utah officially opened its doors to the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) industry on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at Deseret UAS Headquarters’ in Tooele. Deseret UAS headquarters is located at the Xperience Center in Tooele City.
