Volocopter to Launch Air Taxi Services in Singapore

German Urban Air Mobility (UAM) company Volocopter announced its commitment to launch air taxi services in Singapore after two years of close collaboration with the city of Singapore. Working together with the Economic Development Board of Singapore (EDB) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Volocopter plans to make air taxi services a reality in the Southeast Asian city-state within the next three years. Volvo Owner China’s Geely is Building Flying Cars

Geely, the Chinese car manufacturer’s latest vehicle is an electric drone. The X-Chimera 25 is built by Chinese drone maker AOSSCI. The start-up recently merged with US-based flying car developer Terrafugia, which Geely acquired in 2017 The resulting joint venture, known as Aerofugia, hopes to eventually introduce a hybrid car that travels on the road and flies like a plane.
