NASA UTM Program Completes TCL 3 Testing at Nevada UAS Test Site
The Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems (NIAS), which manages the Nevada UAS Test Sites, and its NASA Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) partners flew multiple Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS or drones) over a week-long testing period at the Nevada UAS Test Site at the Reno-Stead Airport. Altavian, Inc., a manufacturer of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems and components, announced that it is working with Northern Plains UAS Test Site (NPUASTS) to help test NASA’s Unmanned aircraft systems Traffic Management (UTM) system.
