Kawasaki Heavy Industries has successfully completed proof-of-concept (PoC) testing for an unmanned cargo transport system. The system combines Kawasaki’s K-Racer-X1 prototype unmanned vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft and what is commonly described in the industry as an autonomous mobile robot, and which the company describes as a “delivery robot”. Russia’s UWCA Developing Unmanned and Optional-Piloted Aircraft
The Russian company UWCA (Ural works of civil aviation) runs a program to create a family of unmanned/optional-piloted aerial based on existing manned fixed wing aircraft models. It is planned to use the new multipurpose aircraft LMS-901 Baikal and the agricultural aircraft T-500 as the base for creating its primary UAVs.
