Kratos Gets $17.8M XQ-58A Valkyrie Contract from USAF Research Lab

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. announced that Kratos has received a $17,776,055 award from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) for work in support of the government’s Low Cost Attritable Aircraft Technology (LCAAT) efforts, including as related to the XQ-58A Valkyrie.

Canada Selects Elbit’s Hermes StarLiner UAS for Environmental Protection

Elbit Systems announced that following a competitive procurement process, Public Services and Procurement Canada, on behalf of Transport Canada, selected the Hermes StarLiner Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) to support maritime environmental protection missions in the Arctic and along the Canadian Eastern and Western coasts, as part of the Canadian National Aerial Surveillance Program.
